Chinese inspired mahogany coffee table by Frits Henningsen
This Chinese inspired mahogany coffee table was executed by cabinetmaker Frits Henningsen (1889-1965) ca. in the 1930s.
The table top is decorated with unique tiles depicting Chinese Fenghuang birds also called the August rooster - a positive symbol of high virtue and grace. The tiles are handcoloured by painter and ceramist Jens Thirslund and executed at Herman August Kählers (HAK) pottery.
Exhibited: The present model was exhibited in ‘Industriforeningen’, Copenhagen in 1933. Stand 12.

A pair of teak sewing tables with woven baskets by Severin Hansen Junior
This pair of teak bedside tables by Severin Hansen Jr. has a rail with hidden drawer and there is an underlying woven cane basket.
The bedside tables were executed by Haslev Møbler ca. in the 1950's.

This nesting table with a beech frame by Poul Hundevad (1917-2011) has a tabletop of teak with brass fittings. It consists of one larger rectangular table and four smaller round drop-leaf folding tables.
Made in the 1960s.
