Black midcentury sculptural sofa by Danish cabinetmaker
This free standing sculptural sofa from the 1940s - 1950s has round fore and hind legs of oak.
The sofa is upholstered with patinated Napa leather. The back is fitted with buttons.

Unique armchair with red Niger leather by Hans J. Wegner
This unique armchair was designed and executed in 1948 by Danish architect Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) and master cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen (1886-1961).
It has a cherry wood frame and is upholstered with red Niger leather.
Provenance: Architect Tang Ørnebjerg. The chair was made by special order for his apartment in Frederiksberg. It was purchased in 1948 directly from Johannes Hansen in Bredgade, Copenhagen.
A sketch drawing of the chair plus the original receipt with Mr. Wegner’s own signature included.

Pair of lounge chairs with seat cushions by Hans Olsen
This pair of lounge chairs with seat cushions were designed in 1956 by Hans Olsen (1919-1992). The chairs have model number 187. They are upholstered with white and black Savak wool by Gabriel. Their legs are of stained wood.
The lounge chairs are executed and marked by Bramin (previously N. A. Jørgensens Møbelfabrik), Denmark.
This chair model was the predecessor to the so-called "Fried Egg" model 188 also designed by Hans Olsen 1956.
