    This original table lamp of brass with sleek curves and a black lacquered metal shade was designed in 1950 by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen (1913-2004).     Very large and unique ceramic lamp by Sejer Keramikfabrik

    This very large ceramic table or floor lamp has details of brass and colored glass. It was designed and executed by Sejer Keramikfabrik located on the island of Funen in Denmark. Circa 1960. Sejer Keramikfabrik was a smaller potter's studio which produced various limited production pieces and often elegantly glazed. The pieces were rarely credited to one specific potter, as management believed it was the studio that should stand out, and not one single potter. The lamp is signed on the base. H. 55 cm.     Table lamp with patinated brass foot and topshade by Fog & Mørup

    This table lamp with patinated brass foot, topshade and matt coloured glass stem was executed by Fog & Mørup ca. in the 1930s. The lamp is the so-called 'Torch lamp' (Fakkellampen) because it resembles a torch. The model number is E 6273. Ansgar Fog og Erik Mørup became good friends in 1902 when they both worked in the same a grocery store in Århus, Denmark. Soon after they became business partners. They would start out as wholesales but success turned the company into production as well. For Fog & Mørup it was always about quality. And one of the main reasons they kept producing the best of the time was because they cared for their employees. They were one of the first companies in Denmark to pay their workers dividends. Erik Mørup believed that if the employees knew they would get part of the profit, they would care more about the materials and tools they were working with and ultimately create better quality.

    This rare table lamp was made for Nordiska Kompaniet, Stockholm. ca. in the 1930s. The shade of brass is painted in original green. The foot is of profiled oak and brass. The lamp is marked NK 29595 H. approx. 50 cm. (19,7 in.) W. approx. 36 cm. (14,2 in)
