Coffee table with hand coloured inlaid tiles by Frits HenningsenThe so-called Chinese mahogany coffee table. Executed by cabinetmaker Frits Henningsen ca. in the 1930s. On top it has inlaid unique tiles depicting a fruit basket with decorative flowers. The tiles are handcoloured by painter and ceramist Jens Thirslund and executed at Herman August Kählers (HAK) pottery. The present model was exhibited in ‘Industriforeningen’, Copenhagen in 1933.
