    Sofa set with pink mohair by Bent Møller Jepsen

    These two sculptural easy chairs and matching sofa have teak legs and large teak arm handles. Their seat, back and sides are upholstered with pink mohair fabric and the back fitted with buttons. The model is a variant of the so called ”TV Chair”-model designed 1950s. The set was executed by Danish manufacturer Simo in the 1950s.

    Rare bamboo and rattan furniture set by Flemming Lassen

    This important bamboo and rattan furniture set by architect Flemming Lassen (1902-1984) consists of a unique two-seater sofa and three easy chairs. The circular coffee table, top and shelf of raw glass by architect Jørgen Rohweder (1904-1994). Original cushions included, upholstered with green striped “Capsella” fabric designed by Danish textile artist Helga Foghs (1902-1974).  The lounge chairs are model umber 340 and they were designed in 1940 and exhibited at Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition in 1940.     Very rare set of Niger leather chairs by Kaj Gottlob

    This very rare set of four chairs was designed ca. 1935 by Kaj Gottlob (1887-1976). The chairs are made of Cuba mahogany and upholstered with original patinated Niger leather as well as fitted with brass nails. Executed ca. 1935 by master cabinetmaker A. J. Iversen, Copenhagen. Exhibited: The present model was among the more than 250 carefully selected pieces exhibited at the ‘Masterpieces: 100 Years of Danish Cabinetmaking’, Kronborg Castle, Helsingør, 13. October – 3.     This set of eight dining chairs designed by Ole Wanscher (1903-1985) is executed in mahogany. Back of the chairs have cross-bars and the seats are upholstered with black fabric. These chairs were executed ca. in the 1950s for luxury department store Illums Bolighus. The have metal tags: ILLUMS BOLIGHUS KØBENHAVN. H. 85 cm. (33,5") Seating height 44 cm. (17,3")   A matching elliptical dining table with extension and two extra leaves is also available. Photos of the table available on request. H. 74 cm. (29") L. 183/241/299 cm. (72"/95"/118")

    This set of six dining chairs designed by Ole Wanscher (1903-1985) is executed in rosewood. These chairs have seats upholstered with black horsehair and details of black leather. They were designed in 1942. The chairs were manufactured and labeled by Slagelse Møbelværk for Danish luxury department store Illum’s Bolighus. H. 75 cm. W. 45 cm. D. 45 cm.     These lounge chairs have frames of stained beech. The seats are of original woven paper cord. The chairs were manufactured by Fritz Hansens Eftfl. Denmark ca. in the 1930s. They are marked with a brass sign: Fritz Hansens Eftfl. København.
